I've decided to have another blog for all my DIY projects. The circle skirt I made a few weeks ago is a practice on a very small remnant fabric. For the waist I used 3-inch wide garter. It came out a bit shorter than I would have liked but still wearable at home. The pattern I followed is here. I'll post detailed instructions and more photos for my next projects.
